Yard Person / HC Local Driver - Wagga Wagga - NSW

Established in March 1984 and dedicated to safe and reliable transport, Land Transport provides a comprehensive distribution and delivery network across Australia. With 40 years of experience operating a late model fleet, Land Transport is committed to a safe and personal service every step of the way. 

With steady company growth, we are looking for a Local Driver to join our team to carry out pickups and deliveries within Wagga and surrounding areas. Working with General Freight as a proven driver and drawing on your sound knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.

This role will require you to assist in the yard loading, unloading and securing of general freight for our local, intrastate and interstate freight. 

To be successful in this role you will be energetic and goal oriented and possess the following skills:

• A current forklift licence essential
• HC Licence is desirable
• Road Ranger experience desirable
• Experience with loading and unloading General Freight and Load Restraint essential
• Previous experience working with Dangerous Goods is desirable
• Team oriented with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to working within Workplace Healthy and Safety Guidelines
