Land Transport has built its reputation on reliability, safety and an excellent standard of service. Safety and professionalism of our operations means being an accredited operator.
DANGEROUS GOODS
Our fleet and drivers Australia wide are licenced to carry bulk dangerous goods. Our depots are also licenced to store manifest quantities of Dangerous Goods.
AGSAFE
Our depots are AgSafe accredited, which ensures responsible and compliant storage, handling and transport of agricultural and veterinary chemicals.
NHVR (NATIONAL HEAVY VEHICLE REGULATOR)
This is a voluntary alternative to conventional heavy vehicle enforcement. Accredited operators must demonstrate through regular audits of their transport management systems and vehicle or driver assessments, which their vehicles and drivers comply with standards set by the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme.
FATIGUE MANAGEMENT
All of our drivers have completed the approved training as part of our fatigue management system. We operate a closely monitored internal program maintaining driver’s annual medical records and training, scheduling, rostering and all record keeping.
MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT
Maintenance Management Accreditation allows us to take responsibility for maintaining our vehicles in the correct manner, constantly ensuring they are in excellent condition. This manages our business more efficiently and safely, with clear policies and procedures in place to ensure the mechanical condition of our vehicles. Having the best of maintenance scheme means fewer breakdowns and broken delivery timelines. Our internal servicing schedule guarantees that our vehicles are always up to date with the correct services
TRUCK SAFE
Truck Safe is a business and risk management system which is aimed at improving the safety and professionalism of trucking operators nationwide. Being a member of Truck Safe guarantees the management of our driver’s health and training plus our vehicles are achieving or exceeding the industry standards.
WAHVA (WESTERN AUSTRALIA HEAVY VEHICLE ACCREDITATION)
The Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation is mandatory for all individuals and organisations that perform any transport tasks as part of a commercial business or for profit within Western Australia, including interstate operators.
LAND TRANSPORT INDUCTIONS
Our drivers, administration staff, mechanics and sub-contractors are all company inducted and trained to ensure they are aware and compliant with our policies, procedures and expectations.
VISITOR INDUCTIONS
Upon arrival at any Land Transport site a visitor induction is required to be completed highlighting important company and site policies, procedures and expectations.
CUSTOMER INDUCTIONS
Our drivers and sub-contractors undertake customer's company inductions and training to comply with the customers site specific Health and Safety policies or any requested inductions.
AUDITING
Our company takes pride in remaining compliant at all times, with this in mind along with mandatory audits we run stringent in house internal audits processes.
