HR Driver - Maddington - Perth, WA

We are looking for a HR Driver to join our team in the Perth depot based in Maddington to carry out pickups and deliveries within the Perth and Surrounding areas.  Working with General Freight as a proven HR driver, drawing on your knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.  

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bring your previous experience with pickups and deliveries of interstate freight
  • Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight
  • Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness
  • Hold a current HR licence with proven experience with general freight
  • Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
  • DG and Forklift licences preferred but not essential
  • Tilt Tray experience advantageous

Warehouse Assistant - Moree, NSW

In this busy full-time position at our Land Storage and Distribution (LSD) Warehouse in our Moree Depot you will be reporting to the Depot Manager and you will be responsible for receiving, storing and despatching customer’s goods held in storage while maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.  Your position will require you to receive and dispatch customers goods, along with various storage reports while working with our WMS. Weekly and monthly customer stocktakes as also required.  Your communication skills will be of a high standard as you liaise directly with the customers both internally and externally.  You will also be required to assist with the loading, unloading and securing for our local, intrastate and interstate freight.

What we need from you:

  • A current forklift licence with experience within a warehouse environment
  • Proven experience handling pallets in and out of pallet racking
  • Previous experience working with Dangerous Goods is essential
  • Your ability to demonstrate a high level of written, numerical and computer skills
  • Your ability to follow policies and procedures while working within the WH&S Guidelines
  • A clear understanding of loading, unloading and securing freight

Trailer Mechanic (Field Service) - Brisbane, QLD

As one of Australia’s leading Road Transport Companies established in 1984 we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Trailer Mechanic who is searching for their next career challenge.

In this busy full-time position based in our Brisbane Depot, located in Richlands, working within the workshop team, you will be responsible for servicing all trailer types including brakes and suspension systems. This is a field position located within the Brisbane Depot.

For you to be successful in this role:

  • At least 5 years experience as a trailer mechanic
  • Must be a team player
  • Previous experience in brakes and suspension systems
  • HC & FL licence will be viewed favourably
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills   

Your hours of work will be 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required.

HC Tilt Tray Driver - Bohle, QLD

Working with General Freight, as a proven HC driver and drawing on your sound knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight, pickups and deliveries
  • Have proven experience loading machinery without forklifts
  • Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness
  • Have proven experience with Tilt Trays and Supertilt 
  • Road Ranger experience essential
  • Hold a current HC licence with proven experience
  • Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
  • Forklift licence essential
  • Dangerous Good licence desirable
