We are looking for a HR Driver to join our team in the Melbourne depot based in Derrimut to carry out pickups and deliveries within the Melbourne and Surrounding areas.  Working with General Freight as a proven HR driver, drawing on your knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.  

To be successful in this role you:

  • Must hold a current HR licence with proven experience with general freight
  • Will bring your previous experience with pickups and deliveries of interstate freight
  • Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight
  • Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness
  • Are efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
  • DG and Forklift licences preferred but not essential

Warehouse Supervisor – Dubbo, NSW

Warehouse Supervisor

Land Transport realised that its customers required additional services. Hence in 2005 Land Transport and Distribution (LSD) was born. Over the years LSD has grown to become an inaugural part of our business.

In this demanding full time position at our LSD Warehouse in our Dubbo Depot reporting to the Depot Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, storing and despatching customer’s goods held in store
  • Generating various storage reports including SOH for customers and management working with JAIX WMS
  • Completing physical and cyclic stocktakes both weekly and monthly
  • Batch control
  • Liaising directly with the customers both internally and externally. 
  • Assisting with the loading and securing of outwards stock
  • Ensuring all DG placarding is used as required

What we need from you:

  • A current forklift licence with experience within a warehouse environment
  • Experience with customer’s goods in store receipting, order picking and packing
  • Proven experience handling pallets in and out of pallet racking systems essential
  • Previous experience working with and handling Dangerous Goods is essential
  • Your ability to demonstrate a high level of written, numerical and computer skills
  • A clear understanding of weight distribution and securing loads
  • Minimum MR Licence

Warehouse Assistant - Moree, NSW

In this busy full-time position at our Land Storage and Distribution (LSD) Warehouse in our Moree Depot you will be reporting to the Depot Manager and you will be responsible for receiving, storing and despatching customer’s goods held in storage while maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.  Your position will require you to receive and dispatch customers goods, along with various storage reports while working with our WMS. Weekly and monthly customer stocktakes as also required.  Your communication skills will be of a high standard as you liaise directly with the customers both internally and externally.  You will also be required to assist with the loading, unloading and securing for our local, intrastate and interstate freight.

What we need from you:

  • A current forklift licence with experience within a warehouse environment
  • Proven experience handling pallets in and out of pallet racking
  • Previous experience working with Dangerous Goods is essential
  • Your ability to demonstrate a high level of written, numerical and computer skills
  • Your ability to follow policies and procedures while working within the WH&S Guidelines
  • A clear understanding of loading, unloading and securing freight

Operations Administration Assistant - Dubbo, NSW

We are currently looking for a hands on, confident and proactive Operations Administration Assistant to join our team in the Dubbo Depot. You will be reporting to the Operations team.  Your primary responsibilities will be ensuring that all paperwork, including consignment notes and manifests are entered into the JAIX Freight System ready for the drivers, utilising your attention to detail skills with a high level of accuracy.  Exceptional customer service and organisational skills will be needed as you liaise with customers, drivers, depot managers and all Land Transport staff both over the phone and in person.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Previous success in an administrative data entry position
  2. Experience working in a fast-paced environment working to strict deadlines and time frames
  3. Demonstrated experience working with Consignment notes and Manifests
  4. Strong Australian geographical knowledge
  5. Excellent communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
  6. Demonstrated experience in the transport industry
  7. Previous experience using freight software within the Transport industry
