We are seeking self-motivated, experienced and reliable MC Interstate Drivers, based in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to join our team transporting general freight Australia wide. Reporting to the National Operations Manager and Depot Managers, to be successful in this role you will be energetic and goal oriented and possess the following skills:

Our Ideal Applicant will have:

  • Current MC Licence
  • Road Ranger Experience preferred
  • 2 years previous interstate driving experience
  • Good Driving Record
  • Current DG Licence (or willing to obtain)
  • BFM (an advantage)
  • Experience with General Freight and Load Restraint essential
  • Experience with various trailer combinations

As one of Australia’s leading Road Transport Companies established in 1984 we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Truck and Trailer Mechanic who is searching for their next career challenge.

In this busy full-time position based in our Brisbane Depot, located in Richlands, working within the workshop team, you will be responsible for servicing trucks and trailers.

For you to be successful in this role:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
  • Be able to work within a team or independently
  • Demonstrated experience with late model equipment, including KW, Mack, Volvo and WST prime movers, along with various trailer types
  • HC & FL licence will be viewed favourably
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Your hours of work will be 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. Overtime and call out may be required.

MC Driver Dubbo NSW

Established in March 1984 and dedicated to safe and reliable transport, Land Transport provides a comprehensive distribution and delivery network across Australia.  With over 35 years of experience and a late model fleet, Land Transport is committed to a safe and personal service every step of the way.

With steady company growth, we are looking for a MC Driver to join our team to carry out pickups and deliveries within the Dubbo and Surrounding areas. This will include Local, Intrastate and Interstate runs. Working with General Freight as a proven MC driver and drawing on your sound knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight, pickups and deliveries
  • Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness
  • Hold a current MC licence with proven experience
  • Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
  • DG licence desirable
  • Forklift licence or willing to obtain

With steady company growth, we are looking for a HC Driver to join our team to carry out pickups and deliveries. Alternating days you will be required to work in the Tamworth and surrounding areas, other days will be Tamworth to Hunter/Newcastle regions and return.

Working with General Freight as a proven HC driver and drawing on your sound knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.

To be successful in this role you will:

Administration Assistant - Melbourne Depot

Administration Assistant

Established in March 1984 and dedicated to safe and reliable transport, Land Transport provides a comprehensive distribution and delivery network across Australia.  With over 35 years of experience and a fleet of over 150 units, Land Transport is committed to a safe and personal service every step of the way.

Due to growth in our Melbourne depot we are currently looking for a hands-on, confident and competent proactive Administration Assistant to join our team.

Reporting to the Depot Manager in this busy administration position, your outstanding organisational skills and ability to multitask will be put to the test daily as you manage enquiries as they come through the depot. Working unsupervised, you will be responsible for ensuring that paperwork is entered into JAIX software utilising your attention to detail skills with a high level of accuracy.  Your excellent time management will ensure that paperwork arrives in Head Office for processing within designated timeframes.  Your exceptional customer service skills will be needed as you liaise with customers, drivers, depot managers and all Land Transport staff.

You will bring to this role:

  • Previous experience working with con notes and manifests
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role working with the JAIX software or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Previous experience in the Transport industry will be an advantageIf you are a dedicated administrator with a mature attitude to your work who is looking for a secure full-time position in a challenging and busy environment and you are ready to commit to a company that puts their people first, this is the role for you.  Your hours of work will be 38 hours per week working within Land Transport’s operating hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
