We are looking for a HR Driver to join our team in the Melbourne depot based in Derrimut to carry out pickups and deliveries within the Melbourne and Surrounding areas.  Working with General Freight as a proven HR driver, drawing on your knowledge of WHS both in the workplace and on the road, this role is suited to someone who has sound geographical knowledge and who takes pride in their work always considering the customer's and company’s needs.  

To be successful in this role you:

  • Must hold a current HR licence with proven experience with general freight
  • Will bring your previous experience with pickups and deliveries of interstate freight
  • Have demonstrated experience in load restraint of general freight
  • Have previous experience completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and driver fitness
  • Are efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
  • DG and Forklift licences preferred but not essential

Administration Assistant - Derrimut - Melbourne Vic

Due to growth in our Melbourne depot we are currently looking for a hands-on, confident and competent proactive Administration Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Depot Manager in this busy administration position, your outstanding organisational skills and ability to multitask will be put to the test daily as you manage enquiries as they come through the depot. Working unsupervised, you will be responsible for ensuring that paperwork is entered into JAIX software utilising your attention to detail skills with a high level of accuracy. Your excellent time management will ensure that paperwork arrives in Head Office for processing within designated timeframes. Your exceptional customer service skills will be needed as you liaise with customers, drivers, depot managers and all Land Transport staff.

You will bring to this role:

  • Previous experience working with con notes and manifests
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proven experience in a similar role working with the JAIX software or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Previous experience in the Transport industry will be an advantage

Warehouse Assistant - Moree - NSW

In this busy full-time position at our Land Storage and Distribution (LSD) Warehouse in our Moree Depot you will be reporting to the Depot Manager and you will be responsible for receiving, storing and despatching customer’s goods held in storage while maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.  Your position will require you to receive and dispatch customers goods, along with various storage reports while working with our WMS. Weekly and monthly customer stocktakes as also required.  Your communication skills will be of a high standard as you liaise directly with the customers both internally and externally.  You will also be required to assist with the loading, unloading and securing for our local, intrastate and interstate freight.

What we need from you:

  • A current forklift licence with experience within a warehouse environment
  • Proven experience handling pallets in and out of pallet racking
  • Previous experience working with Dangerous Goods is essential
  • Your ability to demonstrate a high level of written, numerical and computer skills
  • Your ability to follow policies and procedures while working within the WH&S Guidelines
  • A clear understanding of loading, unloading and securing freight

Debtor Administration Assistant Entry Level Position

Based in our Head Office situated in Toowoomba Qld, working with our JAIX software, you will bring to the Debtor’s team your excellent accuracy, computer skills, time management and organisational skills.  No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. School leavers are encouraged to apply.  Your ability to multi task and be productive in a fast-paced environment will also be required for you to be successful in this busy role.

Responsibilities and Duties (but not limited to):

This role will require you to:

  • Check pre-entered consignment notes and manifests following up with depots for required information
  • Ensure that information entered on the system matches consignment notes before releasing for invoice
  • Enter cash sale invoices and follow up on payments
  • Accurately enter data into the JAIX software
  • Manifesting consignment notes
  • Process Credit Card payments
  • Receiving, scanning and filing PODs
  • General office duties
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
